The Geneva International Motor Show is traditionally the first European car show of the year. For the first time, the Swiss Fair took place in 1905 as a "National Automobile and Bicycle Exhibition". Since that time, it has opened its doors every year for about two weeks. The Palexpo exposition centre will be showcasing more than 700 brands on 102,000 square meters.
Mercedes-Benz presented the new E-Class Cabriolet as well as the thoroughly revised GLA at the 87th Geneva Motor Show. Optical focus of the presentation is the "EQ Lane", which runs like a shiny black, light and media technology equipped track through the entire state.
The Plexiglas rods of the "EQ-Lane" were staged with 500 LED strips B50-500 and 465 LED-Intelligences by Schnick-Schnack-Systems. The power supply of the strips took place via 6 DMX Pixel-Routers.
