Schnick-Schnack-Systems supplied technology for LED sky
Cologne, November 2012 – A LED-sky, created from more than 4.000 individually controllable LED-Dots. This impressive installation is located on the newly opened luxury shoe sales area of the flagship store of Breuninger, Stuttgart. For this extraordinary project the Schnick-Schnack-Systems GmbH developed customer specific LED solutions.
On 14th September 2012 opened in the flagship store of Breuninger/Stuttgart a new, luxurious shoe-surface with a unique space concept in Germany. On more than 2.000m² ladies find here nationwide the largest shoe Brand diversity in upscale and high fashion segment. The shopping area spans a 900m ² large LED sky and provides an exclusive and unique shopping atmosphere.
The installation consists of over 4.000 individually controllable, monochrome LED dots in 3000K on-specially for the customer-made boards. During the construction the dots were bonded with acrylic diffusers mounted on aluminum bars of different lengths.
90 Intelligences M60 from Schnick-Schnack-Systems control the over 4.000 single LED dots and three System Power Supplies 4E with power and data.
A central control computer with an e:cue LAS sends the signals by the standard ArtNet on the decentralized mounted System Power Supplies 4E and allows the display of various dynamic effects that can be sent through the entire room.
