The LED modules are connected using a 4 x 0.34mm² PCB link cable.

This is a crossover cable: it shifts the red, green, and blue channels by one position. When this cable is used with monochrome strips, the first strip is driven by channel 1, the second by channel 2, and the third by channel 3; a fourth strip would then be driven by channel 1 again, and so on. This allows L-series monochrome strips to be controlled quickly and easily using RGB controllers (Intelligenz, Big-Intelli, and LD controllers).
