The Series D Tiles connect the best of two worlds: an outstanding illumination with Ra>95 on the one hand, and video controlled RGB light on the other. Especially for media- and effect- suitable area lighting, whereby even large areas can be perfectly utilized.
The reason: The Series D combines both premium quality and efficient RGB LEDS and warm white 3500K LEDs into a flexible and powerful RGBW-System with an excellent colour rendering index of Ra>90. For a lighting quality that simply cannot realized by RGB LEDs alone with Ra<40.
The series D comes with two tile variants: a tile with a 50mm pixel pitch and a tile with a 50mm to shape. The tile D50 Shape is one of the most versatile design elements in the product range. Their shape can be adapted to organic forms.

The LED tiles of Series D belongs to the Generation 3 and in addition to DMX can also read the Dynamic-Pixel-Bus Protocol (DPB). By using the DBP, more LED tiles per output of a system power supply are available (up to 3,072 channels). A variable transmission rate enables the best, customized balance of channel count, frame and error rate. When video signals are used, a system wide synchronization prevents any image distortion and the system speed can therefore easily reach the 60fps update rate.
The tile firmware can be updated from a central point via the network, which also means that future standards or developments can be supported. Each tile sends status information such as temperature, data error rate, input voltage or LED defects back to the control system so a problem-free remote diagnosis can be made at any time.
The LED tiles of series D can be pixel-precisely controlled via the Ethernet interface of the System Power Supply 4E and the Sys One with lighting consoles and media servers, with our video converter "Pixel-Gate" and the DVI or SDI video signals.
