WasserWelten

Exhibition at the National Museum Hannover

Where once tarantula, stick insects and fishes resided behind glass between fashioned brick walls, are now beautiful and fascinating "water worlds". The National Museum Hannover has its unfashionable Vivarium turned inside out completely. Blue walls and a wavy ceiling provide the visitor into the habitat of aquatic species.

The wave-shaped ceiling reflects the gentle ebb and flow of the sea. Behind blue Makrolon are 153 LED-strips of series L and 16 Big Intellis installed. The L-strips are animated, so that wave optics arises.
