Under the title "Eurovision Song Contest - Unser Song 2017" the German pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 was held on February 2017.
In the live show moderated by Barbara Schöneberger, five young singers performed against each other and presented songs by national and international composers and producers. The performance of the singers was accompanied by a live band.
A three-member jury, consisting of Lena Meyer-Landrut, Tim Bendzko and Florian Silbereisen evaluated the performances of the artists. In four rounds of voting, the audience chose the winner Levina, who represented Germany at the ESC on May in Kiev.
