Just a few meters away from the place where the company history of ZF Friedrichshafen, Germany's third-largest automotive supplier, began a century ago, the new head office has now been built.
The six-storey building sets a striking urban accent. Thanks to its open concept, the ZF Forum with its 30,000 square meters is far more than just a head office, but also gives visitors an insight into the past and present of ZF as well as a look at future topics in an exhibition.
On a tour through the multimedia exhibition, visitors can discover how often they come into contact with ZF innovations: Whether we drive to work by car or bus, trucks deliver the products of our everyday lives or we obtain energy from wind power - ZF has developed and produced essential technologies for this.
Under a seemingly free-floating media ring, visitors to the exhibition can interactively immerse themselves in virtual worlds via a large table installation with tablet PCs at the ready and call up animations on vision and strategy, as well as many other inspiring topics.
Schnick-Schnack-Systems developed the M17-1000 LED strip in 6500K for the media ring. It consists of 2 interlinked boards with a length of 50cm and an LED spacing of 17.5mm. A total of 672 strips were installed here.
The table installation was equipped with 320 LED tiles M8 in 6500K. These monochrome LED tiles with a pitch of 8mm were also specially developed for this project.
The media ring and table are powered via 28 Schnick-Schnack-Systems routers. The LED components are controlled with 3 Pixel-Gate Plus.
