Let’s Dance

Dance show on RTL

Let's Dance is a live dance show of the German TV channel RTL, which has been broadcast since 2006. In 2018, the eleventh season, which was moderated by Daniel Hartwich and Victoria Swarovski, was already aired.

The concept of the show is simple: Several dance couples, each consisting of a celebrity and a professional dancer, compete against each other in standard and latin dances. At the end of each performance, the three-member jury, consisting of professional dancer and adjudicator Motsi Mabuse, international adjudicator and strict dance juror Joachim Llambi and Cuban catwalk trainer Jorge Gonzalez, will give a score between one and ten. Which couple can and cannot continue to fight for the title "Dancing Star" in the following show of Let's Dance is additionally determined by the audience, who can vote by telephone for their favourite at the end of the programme. The pair with the lowest score is eliminated.

2500 Series B LED strips from Schnick-Schnack-Systems provided accentuated edge lighting for the studio – of course suitable for cameras and easy to dim. Power and data was supplied by 36 Long Distance Controller.
