The Biggest Loser is a German television show of the channel Sat.1 and for years the most successful weight loss show on TV. Close to the audience experiences in a mixture of docu-soap and slim-down show the candidates compete against each other to lose weight as much as possible. The winner will receive a prize of 25,000 euros.
The candidates will be supported by kickbox world champion and sports pedagogue Ramin Abt and by the personal trainer Mareike Spaleck.
In January 2017, the successful format already went into the ninth round. As camp chief and presenter again kickboxing world champion and doctor Christine Theiss was there.
